A few people at Uni are aware of my drama concerning a Transformer I bought off eBay America so I thought I would blog an update. After nearly five months of phone calls and letter writing to various government departments, I walked out of SA Customs today with a Masterpiece Megatron. This was seized back in February and it seemed highly unlikely that I would be able to get it, so I am glad the money wasn't wasted. Woohoo! The customs firearms official said I was the only person in SA (that she is aware of anyway) that has managed to get a B709A for a Megatron since the change in the law regarding replica firearms. I was pretty wrapped so I took a 'victory photo' outside customs.
